Robotics Foosball

Mechatronics is the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering, and this project was just that. My team and I built a foosball game where the shooter controls the movement of their robot using the rods on either end, while the goalie is controlled via a controller.

If the shooter scores, the ball rolls down the net, into a tube along the side of the system, where a sensor detects motion, adding a point for the shooter.

The mechanical design was done using the Lego NXT toolset, while the programming was implemented in RobotC.
